Working with the Theatre Company Drang

One of the basses of the Chamber Choir BonTon, Kees Dwarshuis, put Paul van Gulick in contact with the Theatre Company "Drang" from The Hague. They wanted to make a play in the former KPN-complex in the Binckhorstlaan in the Hague. The play was based on poems by Dante and the outcomes of the "norms and values" debate of our Prime Minister Balkenende. Paul's composition "Paradisal Journeys" fitted into that context

Invitation Ukraine

Honorable invitation

Paul van Gulick conducted his compositions in Chernigov on invitation of the Dutch Embassy in Kiev. The invitation was an initiative by conductor Mikola Sukach and his Academic Philharmonic Symphony orchestra. Paul has performed his Requiem, Divertimento, Paradisal Journeys and the first part out of his Oratorio "Apocalypse of Angers" (first performance) with great success.
