Consortium Musicum Divertimento

Since 1997, Paul van Gulick has conducted the Consortium Musicum Divertimento from Breda, along with his colleague Pieter Zwaans. This combined orchestra and choir was formed by Jan de Breet in 1977. Each summer they go to France for a one week camping holiday, every year in a different region, where they perform 3 larger and 2 smaller concerts. The project choir consists of about 60 voices and the symphonic orchestra comprises around 50 musicians. The rehearsals mainly take place during this holiday week. After the summer holiday, a reprise concert is always performed in Breda.
