Alphons Diepenbrock Composition contest |
|
Paul van Gulick was the initiator of the Alphons Diepenbrock Composition Contest. The idea was to enlarge the general repertoire for amateur choirs with new contemporary pieces. Today, the foundation no longer exists.
"The composition ‘Prelude To The Dawn' by Sumire Nukina was my absolute favourite. This work for mixed choir, organ and 4 horns was the climax of the concert, thanks to the marvellous performance by the mixed choir Jeroen Bosch under the direction of Paul van Gulick."
