 In 2007 the "Consortium Musicum divertimento" had a jubilee, they were founded 30 years ago. For that occasion Paul composed a Divertimento for soloists, choir and symphonic orchestra based on the 'National anthem' of Breda: "Te midden van de paarse heide". The melody is divided in fragments and hidden to most of the listeners. At the end of the composition the melody is recognizable to everybody. The celebration is completed and the party can start. This divertimento has been performed three times in France and only once in Breda.
